Since I first started posting Townscaper gifs on Twitter over a year ago, the great Martin Kvale (who made the sound for Bad North) has been bugging me to let him make some sounds for Townscaper too. I finally made the obviously good choice to let him. He did not disappoint on Bad North, and he did not disappoint here. All the plops and blips are now 80% more professional and 120% more pleasant.
I also fixed some visual bugs introduced with an optimization in the last update, where some specific block configurations would break and create big holes in the mesh. There might still be more of these lurking, so please do report if you come across them.
Apparently, under some rare conditions, the game can produce broken save files. That’s sad, and I don’t know how to fix it. But those save files also broke the whole game, which I do know how to fix. So that’s fixed now. This should fix some terrible loading bugs or crashes some of you have been having.
As this year begins, I am transitioning from 50% parental leave to 100% parental leave. I look forward to spending loads of time with my daughter, but obviously it will mean even less time to work on Townscaper.
For me, 2020 was great. Sadly, I have been informed that for some of you 2020 was not so great. I would therefore like to wish you all a very good 2021.

常见游戏安装错误解决方法：
1、报错缺少DLL文件。安装系统常用运行库
2、双击程序没反应。文件夹不要有中文例如D:\BaiduNetdiskDownload\生化危机重制版，后面中文路径改成英文
3、出现启动Steam程序。免DVD补丁未起作用，解压时关闭杀毒软件，防止误杀。
